The XBMC Streamer is a new application developed by collect3, the company who brought you the XBMC Remote. The XBMC Streamer connects to a running XBMC host and streams your music from your house, to you… anywhere in the world! You will never have to worry about running out of space on your Iphone again. Never again will you have to pick and choose which albums to take with you and which albums to leave at home. The XBMC Streamer gives you access to every song, artist, and album in your XBMC library. You’ve spent years building your music collection and you should be able to enjoy that music with no limitations and no restraints.

The XBMC Streamer takes advantage of XBMC’s excellent cataloging features, sorting your music collection just like you would at home. You get all of your coverart, album info, and artist information, just like you would on XBMC. You’ll always know exactly where to look to find whatever it is that you are looking for! It’s like taking XBMC with you in your pocket every time you leave the house. The XBMC Streamer also takes advantage of XBMC’s integrated Shoutcast support. If you find that your own music collection is just not going to get you through the day, don’t worry!
