Visual Metronome

Visual Metronome is a metronome for the iPod and iPod Touch that provides audio and visual beat indication. Features include:

- The audio engine in Visual Metronome has been engineered to provide the most accurate timing possible. Other metronomes available in the App Store are off by almost 1/5 a beat after playing for just 3 seconds. See the website for detailed timing comparisons.

- Accurate timing is maintained while the display is asleep, greatly preserving battery life. Visual Metronome is the only metronome available in the app store with this capability.

- 8 different sounds to choose from for clicks and accents

- A clear, minimal interface with no gratuitous animations

- Freely adjustable audio / visual accents that can be placed on any part of the measure, not just the downbeat. Visual metronome is the only metronome in the app store to offer this feature.

- Tap a tempo anywhere in the large beat display to set the BPM

- Easily adjustable manual tempo - press your finger on the BPM indicator and then drag up and down for large tempo changes; press the + and - buttons for finer control

What's new

- The display now sleeps according to your system settings when using Visual Metronome
- Accurate timing is preserved while the display is asleep. Letting the display sleep while using Visual Metronome greatly improves battery performance
