96.7 fm, WZPH, The Zephyr in Zephyrhills, FL, USA, Earth, Milky Way is the first licensed radio station to play a world record one million songs in a row with NO commercials! Dr. Dr. Thayer, owner, GM, PD, and (only) dj* will break the one million song barrier somewhere in 2011, having started one million songs in a row on March 4, 2005. Oldies rock 'n' roll-primarily 1960's, spilling over from 1955 to 1975. The playlist is 7000 songs! So if you want to hear songs that you have not heard for a long time--or in many cases--EVER...tune in The Zephyr...zooming ONE MILLION songs in a row!

* "Doc" is the only dj, but by far, not the only on-air personality. 73 on-air personalities in total...each with a Super Hero identity.** They are called ZPH'ers (Zephyrhills Power Heroes). The WZPH (We're Zephyrhills Power Heroes) band plays regularly in downtown Zephyrhills. See www.wzphfm.com for photos.

**Doc's Power Hero identity is The Impressive Hulk (not quite Incredible).  Also, there's Wonder-ful Woman, SpideyMan, Silverish Surfer, Captain Caveman, Big Foot, Amazon Lady, Cat Woman, Bat Girl, Lady Liberty, Ariel the Murmaid, Lady Liberty, Supergirl, and many more!
