Piccolo Harmonics

A piccolo tube can produce the series of natural harmonics of a note by simply changing the pressure of the lips and the air column, and this without changing the fingerings.
Playing harmonics are two-fold in importance.
First, they will enable the piccolo player to gain a more solid foundation in his or her normal tone.
Secondly, they will help the piccolo player acquire the required control and flexibility to perform the upper register.
These exercises are also excellent for developing the muscles of the lips and for the ear.
Piccolo Harmonics allows the user to record exercises while working to ensure its intonation and his tone homogeneity.
Regular practice using these application will provide an excellent basis for playing the upper register and developing a personal sound.
