Module Player Lite
Module Player Lite warps you back into the beginnings of the legendary demo scene. Back in the late 80s, when groups outperformed each other with the greatest audio and video presentations for home computers, such as the AMIGA, ATARI ST, and early Macintosh. One of the reasons for the great success of these productions was due to the embedded tunes, called .mods.
Mod Player Lite gives you a handpicked excerpt of the whole Modland collection, containing from over 144.000 classy songs from over 14.383 authors composed in the so-called 'mod tracker' format, providing the highest quality playback routine available. In addition, you can spice up the stereo sound by applying effects, such as reverb, surround, and
megabass: Headphones recommended!
Mark your favourite tunes and put them into a playlist or let yourself be surprised by a random selection of great composers, including Karsten Obarski, father of the Soundtracker composer.
Modplayer relies on the famous modland site, where sound artwork is not only preserved, but there's also constant flow of new creations.
