Car Stereo Pauser

Car Stereo Pauser was created so that I could use my old iPhone as a dedicated car stereo music player.

Please Note: An auxiliary phono input on your car stereo is needed to play music through the car stereo.

This app detects when the battery is being charged. If the battery is being charged, the music plays. If the battery is not being charged, the music is paused.

This allows me to plug my iPhone into the cigarette lighter charger and the auxiliary stereo line in. When I turn off the car, the music is paused so that when I return to my car and start it the music starts up right where I left off.

This app also has album mode. If you are listening to a song and would like to hear the whole album that song is from, use the two finger rotate gesture to start album mode. A record is shown under the album artwork. Then the next song that plays will be the first song in the album. The album will play all the way through and then the app will revert to the previous playlist selected. If you want to exit album mode in the middle, use the two finger rotate gesture again and the app will exit album mode after the current song.

Car Stereo Pauser also has easy to use manual controls:
Single Tap: skips to the next song.
Double Tap: skips to the previous song.
Two Finger Tap: Plays or Pauses the music.
Drag Up or Down: adjusts the volume.
Three Finger Tap: Shows the help and settings menu.
Two Finger Rotate: Starts album mode.

Experiment with other ways to use this app. It might work with a dock stereo that is connected to a wall switch.
