Texas Medical Center has grown for more than 65 years to include approximately 52 member institutions, which are all not-for-profit and dedicated to providing the highest quality of health and medical care, educating future generations of health workers and conducting related scientific research. Member institutions are located on over 1,000 acres, throughout five campuses south of Houston's Hermann Park, and directly east of the Rice University campus.

The Texas Medical Center mobile app serves as an interactive navigational and wayfinding tool. The app provides instant driving directions to and around the campus, along with GPS walking directions throughout, available parking options that are closest to your destination (with a “find my parking space” locater) , easy to use maps and visuals, and the ability to search by member institution and retrieve information on.

In addition, the mobile app includes dining information, a way to quickly connect to the TMC News, important campus contact information and more.
