The Skeletal Head and Neck Pro III was developed in collaboration with Stanford University School of Medicine, Division of Clinical Anatomy.

This app is being offered free to all iPad users to demonstrate the functionality inherent in all 3D4Medical anatomical reference apps. It is a stand alone app and does not contain any in app purchase requirements.

The Skeletal Head and Neck comprises 2 sections taken from the Skeletal System Pro II iPad app (as seen in the Apple iPad TV commercials).

FEATURES:
Rotate: - Swipe to Rotate Horizontally - rotate skeletal area 360 degrees with a swipe of your finger. You can also swipe to rotate Vertically for inferior and superior views.
Cuts: - Use your finger to Cut - slice the Skull for a coronal, sagittal and transverse cut view - use hints to learn how.
Scalpel: - Press the Scalpel - to add or remove up to 2 layers of connective tissue.
Sound: - Hear the correct pronunciation of each and every label.
Pins: - Press the Pins for Labeling - both English and Latin.
Pin Media: - Pins now come with additional media, images and / or animations.
Pen Tool: - Draw on any screen image and then share it through email, Facebook or Twitter.
Quiz: - Press the Quiz - to test yourself with a fun multi- choice or a Drag and Drop Quiz.
Mix layers: -Make one layer semitransparent to compare against another layer.
Colored Maps: - The bones of the skull and pelvis can be color mapped for ease of identification.
Navigation Path: - By touching anywhere on the navigation text path the user will immediately be brought to that area.
Public Notes: - Post or browse through a pins' shared public notes.
Customize Pins: - add your own pins and notes or add notes to existing pins.
Customize the App: - using the settings function the user can choose which pins appear within the app - customize to different levels, i.e. high school, nurses etc…

This app has two primary functions:
1) Education - as a learning tool used by both educator and student. Also by utilizing the index function, the app becomes a fast and innovative reference tool. Select an item in the index and the app will bring you there.
2) Communication - allowing health professionals educate and explain conditions more effectively with their patients.
