Medtronic introduces an intuitive, interactive app designed to simplify and support the complex judgment calls physicians make everyday. The Seize Simplicity app, designed for physicians, provides heart valve resources to simplify patient education, treatment consideration and collaboration with peers.
Key Features Include:
• Anatomy: Heart valve patient education resources including blood flow animations and illustrations
• Treatment:
o 3-D heart model that can be sectioned to see heart valve detail
o 3-D view of products used for heart valve disease treatment and supporting visuals, animations and clinical data
o Ability to “draw” on the 3-D heart model and/or 3-D products for education and technique demonstration
• Resources: Full range of physician education resources including a link to the ACC/AHA Guidelines for the Management of Patients with Valvular Heart Disease, Medtronic Heart Valve Echocardiographic images post implant and more.
WARNING: This application is NOT compatible with iPad 1 hardware. Please install on iPad 2 or 3 only.
