Enhancement of the doctor-patient relationship
Raphael Personal Medical Record (PMR) has been developed to enhance the patient-doctor relationship. Over the past 25 years health care has changed with a clear erosion of the doctor-patient relationship, but remains one of the most powerful relationships that have spanned the centuries and is critical for the best health care system to evolve being more patient centric while maintaining the concerns of public health.
Improving Health Status
Patients that are involved and more engaged in their care or the care of others improve their quality of life and their health outcomes. Such accountability increases the ability to track and with more active engagement between patient and physician leads to better outcomes and lower costs.
The iPad: Healthcare has taken a front seat in today’s society with a focus on the having more information available for physicians and patients to efficiently maximize the delivery of advanced healthcare. And today another revolutionary device — iPad — is helping physicians and patients deliver its state-of-the-art medical technology and information to physicians and patients worldwide. Enhancement of the doctor-patient relationship is a key to the STARxTech realm, the health apps being developed and released are to be used to enhance the physician-patient relationship providing constant in-touch relationships between the patient and the health care provider and furthering the “medical home” environment. Ongoing usage for such systems will be driven by the perception that the patient can be in touch with the doctor. In addition, the compilation and submission to the doctor, increases the time spent face-to-face and create a more productive outcome for the time invested!
