Onc Journals is a specialty specific scholarly journal aggregator for mobile devices. The app displays RSS feeds and article abstracts for journals of interest to healthcare personnel involved with the treatment and care of patients with cancer and blood disorders. Some of the most commonly read periodicals in the field are included in this software.
The user is given the opportunity to review articles on line, or he or she may save the articles for off-line study. Additional features include:
print article abstracts
tweet or email articles and links to journal web pages
suggest a journal to be added to app
automatic fetch of related articles from the Medline database
The user can link from the abstract directly to the journal website to view the full text of the article. In most cases, this requires a subscription to the journal.
