iStethoscope Expert Pro

Assess bowel sounds, lung sounds, Karotkoff sounds, heart murmurs, first and second heart sounds. Save and record sounds in phonocardiogram wav format.

The app uses the built-in microphone on an iPhone or iPad, or an external microphone on an iPod. The heart waveform can be recorded and e-mailed.

Use your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to hear distant conversations and faint sounds. Listen to your baby's heartbeat after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

This app is useful for medical students, physicians, nurses, EMTs, and anyone who needs to learn about heart sounds, lung sounds, or bowel sounds. Stethoscope Expert is useful for learning auscultation for USMLE Step 1 and 2, and NCLEX.

Earphones are recommended. Compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. iPod Touch/iPad require a microphone attachment.
