Videohog is a download accelerator made especially for video files, it allows a user to download a video file at a faster speed, and gives them easy access to playing the video files with a previously installed video player e.g. VLC and MPlayerX.
The user can experiment with the transfer options in the configuration menu to gain an optimal transfer speed.
The fastest transfer options can be unlocked by either purchasing the full version off the appstore or unlocking them by purchasing the speed upgrade from within the application. This will give you the ability to choose up to 20 threads and a section size between 50 and 5,000kb.

-Added a popup alert window to warn that an external player is required to be opened before videohog can use it to open a video.
-Improved responsiveness of the application's window whilst a transfer is in progress.
-Modified the advanced panel to have an upper limit of 5,000 kb for section sizes instead of 1,000kb.
