Quickfire is a video player for film, video, animation and VFX professionals - or anyone who wants advanced control over their movies.
Written by VFX Supervisor Chas Jarrett - it gives you many useful features not found in any other player.
If you review rushes or work-in-progress, make selects, or need to easily show or comment on selections of videos - then you'll define find some of Quickfire's features useful.

Feature summary:
Unlimited playlists, draw directly onto videos, colour correct movies, add/export typed notes, bookmark and snapshot frames, flip/flop, add masking and timecode/frame-counter overlays, zoom, variable playback rate and more......

⁃Drag and drop folders and/or video files to create playlists of videos to watch
⁃Search, sort and reorder videos
⁃View as List or Thumbnail tiles
▪Playback Controls
⁃Easily step from video to video with up and down arrow keys
⁃Play forwards, backwards and frame-by-frame
⁃Variable playback rates (0.2 - 5 x normal)
⁃Loop Movie, Loop Playlist, and Play Once repeat options
⁃Trim handles with user defined head & tails (can be used to play selection)

⁃Draw onto individual video frames (useful for adding notes and marking-up)
⁃Brush and eraser tools with variable colour, line-width and opacity

What's new

New Bookmarks panel
- Bookmark specific frames in a video so you can easily jump to them later
- View bookmarks in a list and add names to them
- Simply click the bookmark to jump to that frame, or use hotkeys to jump between bookmarks
New "Find Movie..." feature
- Searches through all playlists and highlights items with matching (or part-matching) filename
New "Stroke Duration" feature
- Allows you to choose how many frames a drawing (or erasure) persists
Full screen mode now hides the playback controls
- Touch cursor to bottom of screen to reveal Floating Playback controls (or press F hotkey)
- Click anywhere on screen to hide the controls and cursor
Tab button now cycles through value-fields in the Colour Correction Panel
Significant speed increase when adding folders with many hundreds of video files
Many, many enhancements, bug fixes and tweaks
