Dropshelf gives you a handy place to put files, images, text and web links. Just drag an item to the edge of the screen, and Dropshelf slides out.

Use Dropshelf to hold your items while you drag them between different windows, tabs, full screen apps and spaces.

You can also store things in Dropshelf to keep for later. You can have multiple shelves, and they will minimize out of view when not in use.

It supports copy and paste too, so you can save your clipboard contents to Dropshelf. It is also integrated with OS X in other thoughtful, workflow-enhancing ways — check out the User Guide for some tricks and tips.

What's New

Dropshelf is now fully compatible with with OS X 10.11 El Capitan.

I have also been working on the mechanism for triggering a shelf at the edge of the screen. Based on feedback I've been getting, some of you were having trouble reliably triggering a new shelf, especially new users. So I have added a little "target zone" which fades in to give you something to drag to. It should be easier to use and more intuitive. Let me know what you think.

There's a refreshed look; everything a bit cleaner and brighter. And the slide animation is more zippy.

I've also fixed dragging photos from the Photos app.

As usual you can reach me via support@pilotmoon.com or tweet @pilotmoon. And if you like Dropshelf, please leave a review or rating on the App Store. Thanks.
