Shark LT 8
Mac OS Graphics & Design
Shark™ LT provides extensive drafting and annotation tools including 29 dimension types with formats for mechanical or architectural drawings, and industry standard Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Use the markup tools to communicate design deficiencies, recommend changes, and "redline" areas of drawings requiring additional attention.
Shark™ LT includes a comprehensive collection of 3D, surface, and solid modeling tools. LogiCursor, the Gripper, and Push/Pull Modeling make your design tasks easy. Notable tools include multiple spline creation and modification commands, sixteen NURB surface construction methods, blending, chamfering, shelling, stretching, twisting, bending, and local face operations.
Shark LT Version 8 Features
• Photorealistic Rendering
Shark LT includes photorealistic rendering to add visual realism to your designs. Drag and drop materials, textures, and decals onto parts. Use the material editor to tweak reflectance, color, displacement, transparency, and texture space attributes. Add lights, backgrounds, foregrounds or environment maps to further enhance the scene. For output, Shark LT provides options to generate high quality poster size images.
• The Gripper
An intuitive graphical widget that attaches to your objects allowing you to dynamically move, rotate, and scale objects in 2D or 3D.
• Push/Pull Modeling tool for Planar objects and faces of solids
Intuitive 3D solid model editing provides drag and drop ease to changing surfaces
• Dynamically create linear and polar arrays
Precision tools that let you create precision arrays and patterns with ease.
• Architectural Tools
Draft floor plans easily with auto-trimming walls. Custom walls allow composite walls to be created showing layers of building materials. Make the walls in your plan 3d with a mouse click. Add parametric doors and windows.
• Logicursor™ Enhancements
The Logicursor™ will now recognize coplanar faces and cylinder axis for intuitive part positioning.
• Custom Palettes
Create palettes using your favorite combination of tools. Use this feature to customize Shark LT for your specific workflow process.
