Forgot a birthday and wished someone had reminded you?

Should have prepared for a birthday or anniversary earlier?

Tomorrow is your best friend's anniversary but you have not ordered the flowers or made a reservation at a restaurant?

Upcoming Events is an application that retrieves and consolidates events such as birthdays and anniversaries from the Contacts application of your iPhone/iPod touch. The user interface is simple and intuitive and all events are presented in chronological date order, allowing you to know with a glance, which events are soon approaching. You will be able to create new events from within the application. These custom events are kept and stored separately from the Contacts application. You may set up and customize Push Notifications to alert you of approaching events at a convenient time, so you will be updated even if the application is not actively running.

With Upcoming Events, you will be able to make plans ahead of time and never miss a birthday, anniversary or any important event again!

SUMMARY OF NOTABLE FEATURES
• Customizable Push Notifications – select the time of day to receive the alert and the number of days in advance of any approaching event
• Automatically retrieve birthdays and anniversaries of contacts from the Contacts application of your iPhone/iPod touch
• Place a call, or send well wishes by text messages and email directly from Upcoming Events or display the address of the contact in Maps
• Ability to search for events by contact name
• Store custom events within the application, keeping it separate from the Contacts application
• Assign a photo to a custom contact having an event
• Add custom birthday events without year information if you do not know the year of the birthday contact
• Customizable period filters for upcoming and past events
• Optimized loading time for users having a big list of contacts in their Contacts application

All features are available on both iPhone and iPod touch (with the exception of placing a call or sending a text message on the iPod touch).
