[What Are We All About?]

The Taiwanese American Union (TAU) is dedicated towards bringing the Taiwanese culture to the UCLA community.

TAU offers a community for those who are like-minded and share interests and backgrounds. We are more than just a group of students sharing something as arbitrary as "Taiwan", rather, Taiwan has offered us much in binding us together.

Although based in the University of California, Los Angeles, TAU is in no way limited to the UCLA campus. As an active member in numerous networking organizations, TAU often holds co-sponsored events. From ski trips with other universities to volunteering with the Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP), the opportunities are endless. TAU also offers connections in the right places with solid relationships with Taiwanese American organizations, professionals and employers around the greater Los Angeles area, northern California, Canada and Taiwan. Internships have ranged from pharmaceutical companies to biotech firms and movie productions companies.

We cordially invite all those who are interested to come and see what we have to offer: from food to fashion, music to movies, opportunities to connections, friends to family.
