iOS iPhone Lifestyle
BeBackSoon is your personal angel that keeps an eye out for you when you're out and about. Whether you're participating in adventure or socialising, BeBackSoon will prompt you to check-in at a time you set.
Checking in tells BeBackSoon that you're safe & sound. A series of 3 push messages will be sent to your iOS device to remind you to check in, 15, 10 and 5 minutes before the time you specify that you'll return.
If you haven't checked in by your nominated return time, BeBackSoon will send separate email messages to up to three individuals from your device's Contacts list. These emails let them know that you've asked for assistance, along with a message you've provided that describes what you were doing, and what you need them to do. They'll also receive location information from your device based on the last time you used the BeBackSoon app.
BeBackSoon is very customisable. You decide when you want to check-in, who the app should contact if required, and what message they should receive.
BeBackSoon is fully integrated with our cloud based servers, and will continue to work even if your phone is lost or damaged.
BeBackSoon is your "personal dead-man" switch.
Going for a Dive
Two certified divers are going for a dive. Before they enter the water, they activate BeBackSoon, specifying that they will be back by 10.30am. They provide a description of where they will be diving, and what to do if they don't check in. Locking the iPhone in the car, they go and enjoy their dive.
At 10.15am, BeBackSoon sends a push notification to the iPhone, which will be repeated at 10.20am and 10.25am. They get back to the car at 10.10am. After unlocking the car, they check in with BeBackSoon. Because they checked in on time, no one else was unnecessarily bothered.
If they hadn't checked in by 10.30am, BeBackSoon would have sent an email to their specified Contacts, asking them to take action.
A young lady is going on a blind date. She plans to be home by 11.00pm, and activates a BeBackSoon event. She has a pleasant evening and gets home safely at 10.30pm, forgetting to de-activate the BeBackSoon event.
At 10.45pm her iPhone receives a push notification. She's watching TV with her room mate, and doesn't notice. At 10.50pm and 10.55pm, further push notifications are sent, which she again misses.
She's set BeBackSoon to email her mother and her room mate if she doesn't check in. A bit after 11.00pm, her room mate tells her that BeBackSoon thinks she's still out. She launches the app and deactives the event. Checking her own email, she sees a copy of the emails sent to her mother and room-mate. She quickly sends an email to her mother telling her she's safe!
