Shigeki Yamashita was born in Mie Prefecture in 1946. He was attracted to the grand beauty of Hokkaido, taking photos traveling with his camping car since 1996. He took place of many exhibitions. He is a member of The Photographic Society of Japan and Japan Photographers Association.
