Stuck in a rut for healthy school snack ideas? School Snacks app provides a range of recipes and ideas for school snacks and after school snacks.

School snacks can be very important for kids. It can be a long time between breakfast and lunch, especially if breakfast is not light. A hectic household may also mean that breakfast is rushed or not ideal which makes the morning school snack even more important.

Time spent preparing school snacks in advance can make life easier. Many of the recipes in this app can be frozen so that they can be defrosted as required.

There is a range of both savoury and sweet recipes for all taste buds. The recipes are also categorised by ‘Healthy’ and ‘Mostly Health’. The 'Healthy' recipes are typically those without added sugar or fats or very small amounts. The 'Mostly Healthy' recipes contains many healthy home made recipes as well as few that are for the occasional treat snack.

The Tips and Info section provide a number of different ideas and handy tips.

The recipes are mostly tried and true recipes from the extended family of the app developers that have been baked and enjoyed many times.
