Will it be a boy or a girl? What will be the zodiac sign? What’s the possible birth date? Are these some of the questions you have in planning your pregnancy? Then PeriodicRED is the app for you!

PeriodicRED is an app designed to show menstrual cycle days and fertility days. It does this through publicly known prediction methods based on recording cycle lengths and period start days. But it can also show you the possible delivery dates for your child in the event of pregnancy during your period. It can show you the zodiac sign and possible gender of your future baby too!

To predict the gender, PeridicRED uses a combination of the Chinese Lunar Calendar and the Chinese Gender Chart, which is non-scientific. But legend has it that these Chinese methods are accurate to over 90%.

PeriodicRED allows you to record your actual period days to make predicting future periods more accurate. The accuracy of predictions is dependent on your input -- Garbage In, Garbage Out.

For this release, the gender can only be predicted until 12/31/2015 as the Chinese Lunar Calendar data in this app only goes that far.

Although PeriodicRED can be used for family planning there’s no guarantee that you’ll get the exact results. It is advised that you consult with your doctor about medically tested or endorsed family planning methods. The gender prediction method has not been scientifically tested. There are currently no scientific methods to predict a baby's gender prior to conception. Consult with your doctor on how to check the baby's gender after conception.
