This might be the most fun word nerds can have with Twitter on their iPhone. TwitCross is genius -- a crossword game where you have to guess the words in the context of the tweet they appeared in.
Most clues are manageable after a bit of brain wracking, but you do occasionally get thrown a curve ball that will have you deliciously stumped.
Here's what it is:
TwitCross is a crossword puzzle that's never the same twice. Create a new puzzle every time you play! It works by filling a crossword grid with English words and then searching Twitter for tweets including those words. Clues are real user's tweets that you answer by filling in the blank. Confused by a tweet? Tap the user's icon to see the full tweet on the Twitter website.
This premium version even lets you lay out your own crossword grid patterns that are then filled with words and ready for you to solve!
TwitCross HD creates 10x10 puzzles and can be oriented horizontally or vertically to take full advantage of the iPad's large screen.
