One Eyed Monsters
Beep...Beep...krrrrrrrrccchh.. the main screen at Houston control centre sprung to life and was immediately greeted with an euphoric cheer from the group of anxiously waiting engineers. Then almost immediately the group leapt to their feet as the first images from the rover landing craft's high definition camera showed the surface of the planet Danog in all its glory. Identified almost a decade ago, Danog was the nearest match to planet Earth that scientists had ever seen. Similar in size, distance to its own sun, and consistency of atmosphere - the decision was made almost immediately to send a surface rover to search for evidence of life.
Eight years on from that decision, and the rover lander AI program kicked into life as the HD camera started to pan slowly round to the left. Gasps of excitement echoed around the room as the camera revealed green plant life and an image of water running down the side of rock face. The images being displayed outstretched even the wildest expectations of any of the scientists present. Staring intently at the screen, the sense of excitement and anticipation filled the air. Then suddenly.. the room fell silent.. there was a loud crash as a mug of hot coffee smashed against the floor, scattering fragments across the control room. The mission controller slowly raised his head from his laptop to look up to the large projector screen. It was filled with a bright yellow glow from what looked like slime covered skin, and in the centre of the screen was a single, over-sized eye staring straight into the camera. The eye blinked twice, and then there was a bright white flash before the picture disappeared.
That was the last byte of data ever received from the rover lander, but unknown to the scientists present in the room that day, it wasn't to be the last time they would see that image.
Watch out... the One Eyed Monsters are coming!!
One Eyed Monsters is a tile based puzzle game where you must destroy monsters using bombs. Use coloured bombs to destroy monsters of the same colour by dropping the bomb so it lands either on top, or next to a monster of the same colour.
The game has 2 modes:
* Puzzle Mode
* Arcade Mode
In Puzzle Mode you have to solve increasingly difficult puzzles using a limited set of bombs to destroy a limited number of Monsters.
In Arcade Mode you have to destroy as many continually advancing monsters as you can before they pass the forcefield. The more monsters you destroy, the more points you get!
What's new
App supports resume from background mode, so can now be closed and immediately resumed without going back to game menu
Added Facebook support - automatically posts status updates for achievements and high scores.
