Setting up Mobile Banking
If you already have an ABN AMRO current account:
Before you can start using the app, you first of all need to create a profile and register the device you would like to use for your banking. You will need your card and e.dentifier for this one-off registration.
If you do not yet have an ABN AMRO current account:
You need an ABN AMRO current account in order to use the Mobile Banking app. You can open a current account directly from your smartphone by visiting abnamro.nl/mobielklantworden.
The first time you open the app, you will need to follow these steps:
•Log in with your 5-digit identification code or select an identification code.
•Choose if you would like to make transfers with or without your e.dentifier.
•Choose the maximum daily limit you would like to set for transfers using your identification code or fingerprint.
•Confirm these settings using your debit card and e.dentifier. We will then also register your device.
You can change your settings at any time in the app under ‘Manage’. You can find more information about getting started with the Mobile Banking app at abnamro.nl/registreren.
Do you use iOS 7?
If you use iOS 7, you will not be able to use the app after mid-November. Go to your mobile's settings and install the most recent operating system. See also: abnamro.nl/versions
You can use the app to log in and submit a wide range of transactions using your identification code or fingerprint, without having to use your e.dentifier. Of course, you want to be able to do all your banking as securely as possible. That is why device registration is a mandatory security measure for our app. It allows us to identify you by the device you are using to do your banking as well as by your identification code or fingerprint. You can only use the app if all of these details are correct. It is important to keep your personal identification code safe, just like your PIN, and to you use your device sensibly and with care.
