$/mile
$/mile (Dollars per Mile) is a simple, but VERY useful app. Ever wonder how much driving to work or school costs you? What about that road trip you're planning on taking? How much are you REALLY paying for gas these days?
Next time those questions come to mind, use $/mile to help you calculate how much your trip will cost. Just fill out the three fields:
1. Total Miles - How many miles you're driving
2. Gas Price - Current gas price per gallon
3. MPG - And how many miles per gallon your car gets
Then let $/mile tell you how much you're paying per mile you drive AND the total cost of the trip! Maybe that'll help you decide if the trip is worth it.
