The CINECITY Brighton Film Festival App
New for the 2011 Brighton Film Festival, CINECITY brings an exclusive festival app making films available to watch not just in cinemas but on the iPad.
The films that will be available to view via the CINECITY app have all been selected from open submissions to the festival from filmmakers based in the Brighton area with the aim of giving Brighton filmmakers a global platform for their work during the festival period. Four films in total will be available with the films being viewable for one week each.
The selected films are MARVIN, an animation by director Mark Nute, produced by Baby Cow and voiced by Steve Coogan.;A bright and breezy homage to the French New Wave, ROSIE & RIVETTE by Vito Maraula; THE LIFT AND THE GHOST STORY, a sinister short from Jason Davison of The Brighton Film Collective; and doc KATY & I by City College student Olly Newport.
