Breaking the Mould is a collection of stories that realte to different situations in the workplace from the South American jungle to the northern North Sea where certain changes in attitudes and relationships had broken the mould. It is all about the empowerment of people – giving them the power to change their world and treating them as a valuable asset.

This book highlights the performance improvements which occur when people take ownership and how one can easily create such conditions in any work situation, be it on shop floor or in the office. Its anecdotal style and lack of jargon will appeal to a wide audience, not only to management institutions and educational establishments, but also to the common man who has been shouted at and always told what to do.

About the Author :

Peter A Hunter completed his masters at Cranfield Institute of Technology before going to Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, as a an Instructor Officer Royal Navy. He was the Head of Department, RN Strategic Systems School, Faslane. After eight years of working with other consultancies, he formed his own management consulting agency in Portincaple on the West Coast of Scotland. Hunter Business Consultancy associates are now based all over the UK and are expanding into Europe. Their specific aim is to make ‘Breaking the Mould’ skills and techniques available wherever them can.
