Let your child learn about various emotions using facial expressions (social skills) through this app. This app is a part of Shanesh COLORS app series designed for kids on autism spectrum and help kids to generalize their acquired social skills. It is based on discrete trial part of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis).

Understanding and recognizing expressions and emotions is one of the basic and essential social skills. “What’s your expression?” makes use of amazing visuals and animations to teach this skill.

Few sample emotions included in this app are Happy, Angry, Tired, Surprised and Sneaky. You will soon find out which are the others once you download this app!

The app uses one of our most popular character Ningzy to show expressions. Blue smiles are used to generalize the concept by portraying the same expressions.

The app further presents a match making grid where your child can match expressions of Ningzy and Smile.

The app offers positive reinforcement in the form of an audio/visual or animated reward upon acceptable performance. It also plays interesting animation on each correct response to get or retain child’s attention.
