"This Day in History" is as simple as it is ingenious - the reference tool for those who are hungry for knowledge, for historians, time traveller and all who are interested in the past, history and stories.
This is how it works: Not only does the app automatically show you events which are worth knowing about the current calendar day, but also historical events. Any date since the 1. Century AD can be entered: The app will present all historical events on this day, sorted by topic, for easy reference.
"This Day in History" uses knowledge from wikipedia and accesses wiki databases for each new search; this is why your iPhone and/or iPad has to have internet access.
"This Day in History" is the new app by the developer wonderkind from Berlin, whose "Toddler’s Seek & Find" had already won 1st place for children’s apps in 25 countries. He is following it up with this app in the categories education/references/entertainment: "This Day in History".
