Early Stimulation for Children: SmartBits

SmartBits is an automated stimulation program for children from 4 months to 6 years old, inspired by the Doman's Encyclopedic Knowledge Program and based on "bits of intelligence": clear and explicit pictures of a wide range of subjects not familiar to the child.
The first six years of life, when the brain is developing and maturing, is the most intensive period for acquiring knowledge and communication skills. Tiny children have more neural plasticity than adults, which makes it easier for children to pick up new skills. This method helps their brains to make neural connections, involving visual and auditory stimulation, which enhance their learning capabilities.
This is not a memorization method, but an education program that helps make associations between known and unknown objects, enabling the creation of more complex cognitive structures. This program also helps develop speech and language skills and strengthens the bond between the parent and the child, since the role of the adult is essential for the learning process.
SmartBits includes 16 sets of cards with a total of 265 high resolution cards:

SmartBits differs from other early stimulation programs by a unique feature: the capability to create new lessons by picking the appropriate cards automatically. Thanks to its easy of use, SmartBits helps parents teach kids more often; they will only have to provide the best environment for the child's learning.
SmartBits will show the cards in a different order in each lesson. After some lessons, SmartBits will start adding new cards and retiring older cards in each set.
Once all the cards in a set have been seen multiple times, SmartBits will retire the complete set and let the user add a new one.
SmartBits can also be used manually by browsing the sets of cards in full screen mode.
Additionally, SmartBits can be used with more than one child, since user records are stored separately. The adult can create, modify and delete users.
It is also possible to set the language of the cards (English and Spanish available) for each user, so that the child can be in contact with a second language.
And now you can record your own voice and use it with the cards by purchasing the audio track recording module!
