Receptive Furniture

       iOS Universal

A fun and interactive app for learning, with bright and colorful graphics that the children are sure to enjoy!
Receptive Furniture is an educational app to teach language skills to all children, but particularly to those with developmental delays. Sometimes, it’s difficult for children to receptively identify furniture. This app will introduce each target in isolation using receptive identification.

Children will be presented with several pictures and then asked to “Touch the _____.”  Example: When presented with a picture of a shoe and a couch, the child will be asked to “Touch the couch”.

This app will track your child’s progress and isolate the pieces of furniture that your child struggles with. These targets will be sent to an additional practice feature. This app is also capable of tracking the data of multiple children, without overlapping their data.

This app will be a valuable resource for IEP meetings, conferences, and team meetings.

Once each furniture item is mastered in rotation, the app will explain how you can generalize them into the child’s natural environment.
