Prism Lab

A small application that simulates lasers going through prisms (objects capable of refracting, reflecting and decompose light) using Snell's law.

When light travels from one environment to another, it changes velocity modifying its trajectory. The entry angle and the refraction indices of the prism and the environment determine the amount of light reflected and refracted, or if only one them will occur.

Just by moving the light source, you can calculate the entry and exit angles, you can use different materials for the environment or the prism, as well as different shapes.

Useful for those in the fields of physics/optics.
