Piano Chords

iOS Universal

A simple app to show the different piano chords on a keyboard, from C to B, with sharps and flats, majors and minors, suspended 4ths, augmented 5ths, 6ths, 7ths and major 7ths. Three inversions available for each chord. 432 different note combinations.

Useful for training or reference.

Select chords.
Select major or minor versions.
Select incidental notes (4ths, 5ths, 6ths, 7ths and major 7ths).
Select inversion (three inversions per note).
Play selected chord closed (all notes together).
Play selected chord open (notes in order).
Play repeating loop of open chord (allows practice - listen to your piano and compare with sound from device).

Compatible with latest iPad's, iPad mini's, iPod touch's and iPhones.

What's new

Play on all your IOS devices as it has been updated to work with the iPad as well. The chords can now be sounded with the notes as sampled from a quality piano. Notes animate and sounds play allowing you to get a feel for the instrument. Sound any chord as a repeating sequence of notes to play along with. The app has introduced the major seventh chord as well as the existing seventh.
