A Field Guide to the Pharaohs of Egypt!
Pharaohs of Egypt tells the stories of all the known kings of ancient Egypt. It is especially designed to be useful on field trips to a museum or even along the River Nile!
Egyptian artifacts and buildings are full of inscriptions of Kings and their political and religious messages written in hieroglyphs. The kings' names are written inside symbolic circles of rope called cartouches. This App is especially useful for identifying the Pharaoh from the cartouches written on a wall or a statue, or even a papyrus scroll. Use this App in a museum and get a better appreciation for the amazing story of 3,200 years of ancient Egyptian history! Collect as many Kings as you can find and store your finds in photos with the built-in Pharaoh Cam. Compete against your friends to find the most and take the best photos! This App has been tested in Egyptian Pyramids, Temples and tombs and it works Great! The hieroglyph search allows you to match a few symbols and identify a King even if you can't read hieroglyphs!

We added a major new feature enhancing the ability to work offline. The App can now store extensive web biographies internally and either update them when you wish or erase them when you want to free up memory. Once you load the cache, the App will still use the live web if it is available, otherwise it will display the Pharaoh's biography from the cache. Other new features include improvements to the "Pharaoh Cam" and updates to the help files. A few small bugs were caught and squashed.
