De Johannes applicatie laat jou gemakkelijk lezen, zoeken en geeft je toegang tot elke passage in Het heilig evangelie naar de beschrijving van Johannes (Johannesevangelie) komt uit de Statenvertaling, of Statenbijbel, de eerste Nederlandse bijbel die rechtstreeks uit het Grieks en Hebreeuws werd vertaald. Het Evangelie volgens Johannes (vaak kortweg Johannes genoemd) is een van de boeken in het Nieuwe Testament van de Bijbel. Het bevat een verslag van het leven van Jezus. Het evangelie is de vierde van de vier evangeliën die de grote betekenis van Jezus’ levensloop voor het heil van de mensen schetsen. Dit evangelie stelt God’s liefde centraal.
