The creator of Float, Yi-Chih Chen and his collaborators, writer Eric Luke and illustrator Fred Carrillo, are seasoned story artists in the L.A. animation scene (Gummi Bears, Tale Spin, Iron Man, X-Man, Ghost, Wonder Woman, Xyber 9 and Heman).
Review:
In Float, Chen created a unique filmic style narrative for comic book storytelling. We see jump cuts and sharp angles interlaced with a visual quiescence of the classic East. The mood is tense, psychotic, and at the same time blissfully karmic.
