Ava's App
Ava's First App is based on popular board and picture books designed for babies.
The iPad version adds touch, sound, and visual feedback to the traditional paper based versions. It's obviously not recommended that you hand the iPad to any baby unsupervised; rather it is intended that an adult will hold the screen so that a baby can reach and press the colourful pictures on the iPad's screen.
I don't expect that babies are going to use this app to learn to read and write, however it does provide a colourful, tactile, audiovisual experience which also entertains even for their short attention span. I hope you and your baby enjoy this App - and please keep on hand a good supply of screen cleaner wipes!
