Writing Kana

It is very important to write beautiful calligraphy in Japan for a long long time.
Even now, in a century of Information technologies, most of all Japanese wish to write well.
If you write words beautifully, you will be respected in Japan.
But many of them have no idea how to write words beautifully.

70 percent of japanese sentences are KANA. KANA is the very basic of Japanese literature.
If you write KANA beautifully, sentence will look beautiful.

There are only 46 letters in KANA.
Yes, all you have to learn will be only 46 KANAs.
So in few days, you will find yourself as a 'KANA master'.

When you write on teacher's KANA which is in gray color, you may feel odd compared with teacher's KANA.
That is exactly the point you have to learn and fix your drawings.
This is very important.

Learning steps in "Writing Kana" :
- Try writing on teacher's KANA to learn how to use your finger
- Use guide (red line or dot) to learn balances of KANA figure
- Find odd point between teacher's and yours.
- Try again to fix that point.

It is very simple TRY-LEARN-CHECK-FIX routine.

You can also use photos as your text.
Take photographs using iPhone when you find beautiful calligraphy, and you can select that photo as teacher's text.
Draw many times on that photo to find what is the point to write beautifully.
