White Fang by Jack London

One of the two greatest works of Jack London(the other one being the Call of the Wild), White Fang is the story of a wild wolfdog's journey toward becoming civilized during the Klondike Gold Rush at the end of the 19th century.

The book is characteristic of London's precise prose style and his innovative use of voice and perspective. Much of the novel is written from the view-point of animals, allowing London to explore how animals view their world and how they view humans.

One of the must-read books of any childhood.
