Our heroine ventures to an island off the coast of Greenland that contains not only the truth behind the mysterious skeleton but much, much more. Hot on her trail is an assassin trying to cover up the Cold War secret at the heart of this mystery. And hot on his trail is our heroine's new girlfriend!

Set in Iceland in 1999, Umbra is a three-issue mini-series about a young police forensics technician with an anxiety disorder and a bit of a drinking problem, and how her discovery of a very strange skeleton sets in motion a series of violent and tragic events. And then things get weird.

Story by Murphy (Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) with art by Mike Hawthorne (Queen & Country, Hysteria)
