Ultime lettere di Jacopo Ortis is a novel epistolary Niccolò Ugo Foscolo they have collected the letters he was sending his friend Jacopo Lorenzo ALDERAN that occurred after the death of his suicide, he would give to the press including a presentation and a conclusion.

The idea of the work dates from 1796 when the Foscolo, in his Plan of study and attempted to give an organic to its culture, appoint a novel titled "Laura, letters" that are inspired by his love for Isabella Teotochi Albrizzi.
