Textbook of Medical Surgical Nursing
This app was constructed to provide today’s nursing students with an understanding of the nurse’s role in health and illness within evolving practice environments and across the spectrum of health and illness. The textbook’s content has been revised and up- dated by experts in the field to reflect current practice and advances in health care and technology and nurses’ need to be knowledgeable, highly skilled, perceptive, caring, and compassionate. A goal of the textbook is to provide balanced attention to the art and science of adult medical-surgical nursing. It addresses nursing care issues from a physiological, pathophysiological, and psychosocial context and assists the reader to identify priorities of care from that context.
