Niccolo Machiavelli - The Prince

Niccolo Machiavelli was an Italian diplomat, political philosopher, musician, poet and playwright, a figure of the Italian Renaissance and a servant of the Florentine republic.

He is world famous for his short work, The Prince, one of the first texts on realist political theory. Whatever Machiavelli's own intentions , his name became synonymous with ruthless politics, deceit and the pursuit of power by any means.

The Prince has entered the universal patrimony and became a must-read book for leaders, politicians, historians and general public as well.
