This application contains a full, unabridged AUDIOBOOK of Frances Hodgson Burnett's A Little Princess. The book was based on the serialized novella, Sara Crewe, or What Happenend At Miss Minchin's, published in 1888. The work also seems to have been inspired by Charlotte Bronte's unfinished novel, Emma, which is about a rich heiress with a mysterious past who is apparently abandoned at a boarding school. The delightful tale has been made into numerous feature films and musicals, and continues to be beloved by children of all ages.

The Traveling Classics Reader provides:
