Phineas Taylor Barnum was called "the Greatest Showman on Earth", one of America's first millionaires, who created a business empire in entertainment and show-biz, got globally famous, helped his partners become rich, all of it during the Civil War, slavery, famine, political upheaval, and economic panics.
