After meeting the delightfully mucky Yuckies in Story 1, it’s time to go on a yucky adventure. This story sees the chief Yucky tag along on a family trip to the river. There, he meets his yucky mates and gets up to all sorts of yucky mischief. Children will enjoy watching the story unfold and thinking about how they could stop the Yuckies in their tracks.

While The Yuckies apps feature some animation, the focus is on the stories, hand-drawn illustrations and the environmental message.

In stories 3, 4 and 5 (not yet available), the Yuckies are in for trouble when two children, Eve and Jim, decide to teach them a few lessons while they have fun and learn about the environment along the way. The Yuckies series is by writer/editor Bridget Cull and illustrator Helena Turinski.
