《五字鑒》

Five Character History 《五字鑒》 is a Chinese book of enlightenment. It recorded the history of China from the ancient age to the Ming Dynasty. This book is in Traditional Chinese written vertically.

《五字鑒》是一部幾百年來流傳較廣的蒙學讀物，原名為《鑒略妥注》，為明代李廷機所撰。李廷機根據我國古史資料，以五言詩句韻文的形式，按時代順序將我國上自遠古傳說，下至元明的社會歷史，進行了簡單扼要的總述和概括，是一部專述我國社會政治歷史發展的蒙學讀物。傳統的漢文通常為豎排，亦即由上至下書寫，一行寫完再向左方發展，較為美觀大方。本書為繁體中文直排。
