Chair Entertainment has released Infinity Blade II, the sequel to Infinity Blade, a game that debuted last year to much acclaim and has been featured by Apple at its iOS media events. Infinity Blade II hit the App Store yesterday and promises even more impressive visuals and new combat styles and customization options compared to the first version.
Our sister site, TouchArcade, has done a full review of Infinity Blade II, awarding it a full 5 stars for the richness of the environment and the improvements and additional complexities in gameplay. Though it doesn’t really show much in the way of gameplay, Chair has created a trailer video to tease the new game:
Infinity Blade II costs $6.99 and is a universal to work on both the iPad and iPhone. The game’s App Store description indicates it has been optimized for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 specifically and it’s highly recommend that you upgrade your device to iOS 5 to get the most out of the game.
