Steve Jobs: 1955-2011
Steve Jobs passed away last night. His death came as a shock to me personally and I am at a loss for words to describe how I feel even though I never knew him personally. Without his vision, AppShopper and many other sites may not have ever seen the light of day. Rest in peace, Steve.

My sentiments exactly. Feels like I lost a family member. Probably because the products he created are part of my everyday life. He will be missed.

Steve Jobs is gone.
Just like that .. humanity lost a bit of itself. The world lost one of its brightest candles yesterday.

The misfit. The rebel. The troublemaker. The round peg in the square hole.
The One Who Saw Things Differently.
He wasn’t fond of rules. And he had no respect for the status quo.
You can quote him, disagree with him, glorify or vilify him. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore him. Because he changed things.
He pushed the human race forward. And while some may have seen him as the crazy one, we saw genius.
Because the one man who was crazy enough to think he could change the world, was the one who actually did.

Good bye, dear friend. You may have left us, but we will feel your presence for a very, very long time. You have left a hole that can never be filled. The world is a better place because of you. We will miss you, terribly.
We have lost the Jim Henson, the Thomas Edison of our time. We are lucky to have been here at the same time as you, Steve. Thank you.
